British Garden Songbirds

This is a print of my original pen, ink and watercolour illustration of 18 species of British songbirds common to UK gardens.

Growing up I got a lot of pleasure from watching and identifying birds in the garden, noticing how different species would visit depending on the season and getting to understand their behaviours simply by observing. So I’d wanted to draw some of the UK’s native birds for some time, and thought this would be the perfect way to celebrate their diversity, as well as serving as a fun identifier to help bird-lovers of any age or level of geekery determine one species from another.
Featured birds In order of appearance: Long-tailed Tit; Eurasian Nuthatch; Goldcrest; Wren; Great Tit; Pied Wagtail; House Sparrow; Chaffinch; Greenfinch; Coal Tit; European Robin; Dunnock; Eurasian Blue Tit; Common Blackbird; Goldfinch; Song Thrush; Eurasian Bullfinch; European Starling.

Printed onto 100% recycled board by carbon-neutral printers using vegan-friendly inks, this print is available in two sizes: A4 and A3, unframed or framed (black or white frames available). All prints come signed and dated by the artist.

All unframed prints come in 100% compostable stay-flat cornstarch sleeves and are packaged in stiffened envelopes. Framed prints are safely packaged in recycled/recycleable packaging and sent via courier.
